PHOENIX, AZ – Commuters faced major delays after a semi-truck jackknifed along I-17 late Wednesday morning.

According to Fox 10 Phoenix, the incident took place sometime before 12:30 p.m. within the southbound lanes of the interstate near the exit to Deer Valley Road.

The cause of the crash is unclear at this time. However, emergency crews were forced to block three lanes along the busy freeway, causing a major traffic jam.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
