27-Year-Old Woman Killed in High-Speed Crash in Phoenix
PHOENIX, AZ – One woman was killed, and another was rushed to the hospital following a high-speed collision in West Phoenix on Saturday night.
According to ABC 15, the collision occurred shortly before 9 p.m. near the intersection of 51st Avenue and Van Buren Street and involved a PT Cruiser and a four-door sedan.
An unidentified woman in the PT Cruiser was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. A woman in the sedan was also taken to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries a short time later. She has been identified as 27-year-old Dominica Cordova.
Investigators believe speed may have been a factor in the fatal crash.
