Woman Injured After Being Hit By SUV in Green Valley

GREEN VALLEY, AZ – A woman was hospitalized after being struck by an SUV while checking her mailbox in the Quail Creek neighborhood on Tuesday evening.

According to Green Valley News, the SUV jumped a curb within the 2400 block of East Canyon Crossing Drive and hit the woman as she was walking back from her mailbox.

The victim, who is believed to be in her 60s, was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

It is unclear at this time if the driver of the SUV will face any charges.
