North Phoenix Crash Injures Four Early Sunday

PHOENIX, AZ – Four people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision in Blacandeco early Sunday morning.

According to Fox 10, the crash happened near the intersection of 37th Avenue and Northern Avenue at about 12:30 a.m.

Police say the 25-year-old male driver of a westbound Nissan Sentra crossed into oncoming traffic, where he struck an SUV. The Sentra continued driving against traffic after the initial collision and hit a second SUV.

The driver of the first SUV was hospitalized with minor injuries while two occupants in the second were in more serious condition.

The Nissan’s unidentified driver was in critical condition following the crash. An investigation into the cause of the incident remains underway.
