TEMPE, AZ – A child was seriously injured after a major collision in Tempe on Wednesday night, 12 News reports.
The accident took place sometime before 10:15 p.m. along Loop 202 near the Priest Drive overpass.
Police say three vehicles were involved in the crash, and a total of four people were assessed for injuries at the scene. A 5-year-old child was taken to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash at this time.
