GLENDALE, AZ – Two people were rushed to the hospital after a five-vehicle crash in the Glendale area last Wednesday, according to Fox 10 Phoenix.
The incident took place near the intersection of 47th Avenue and Camelback Road shortly before 6:30 p.m. on November 24. While the exact chain of events that caused the pileup remains unclear at this time, authorities believe that it began when one of the vehicles was rear-ended.
One woman was hospitalized in critical condition. Another individual was also transported to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
The roadway was shut down for several hours while investigators worked at the scene.
