MESA, AZ – State troopers reported a single fatality resulting from a fiery wreck on Loop 202 early Thursday morning.
According to KTAR, the single-vehicle collision occurred just before 5 a.m. within the northbound lanes of Loop 202 at Broadway Road.
Troopers believe the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it careened into a wall and caught fire. One occupant was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unclear if anyone else was in the vehicle.
