Female Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Vehicle in Northwest Tucson

pedestrian vs vehicle crash northwest tucsonTUCSON, AZ – A woman died Monday night when she was hit by a car while walking in northwest Tucson.

According to KOLD News 13, the female pedestrian was struck at about 10:30 p.m. by a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo near West Grant Road and North Jordan Drive.

Although the victim was rushed to Banner University Medical Center, she succumbed to her injuries a short time later.

Investigators believe the woman was walking outside of a designated crosswalk at the time of the collision. Officers at the scene determined that that driver was not impaired at the time of the accident.
