Red-Light Crash Fatally Injures Driver of Van

red traffic light on power linePHOENIX, AZ – A man was killed when a driver ran a red light in west Phoenix and crashed into his vehicle on Sunday morning.

According to a report by Fox 10 Phoenix, the driver of a Nissan 350Z failed to stop for the red light at the intersection of Thomas Road and 91st Avenue and slammed into a van.

The van’s driver, 47-year-old Rogelio Hernandez-Ramos, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver of the Nissan was transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

It is unclear at this time if any charges will be filed in connection to the fatal incident.
