blurry lights off in the distancePHOENIX, AZ – Arizona DPS confirmed a 32-year-old man died yesterday after he was hit by a semi-truck on I-17.

According to 12 News, the victim was struck as he ran across the southbound lanes of the interstate near Bethany Home Road shortly before 5:30 a.m.

The man died at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending further investigation.

Significant rush-hour delays were reported in the area due to the incident.
