TUCSON, AZ – Investigators with the Tucson Police Department are searching for the driver responsible for a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian last Friday.
KGUN 9 reports that the incident occurred within the 1300 block of West Ajo Way, where a vehicle jumped the curb and struck two women as they were walking on the sidewalk.
A 62-year-old was killed as a result of the crash, while a 56-year-old sustained unknown injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
The driver responsible for the collision drove away from the scene and has not been found as of Monday evening.
