Man Killed in Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Crash in Tucson

TUCSON, AZ – Officials with the Tucson Police Department are investigating a fatal pedestrian accident that left a man dead in north Tucson last night.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Prince Road and Oracle Road/Highway 77 shortly before 10 p.m., according to KOLD. The driver remained at the scene of the incident and is cooperating with the investigation.

Officials identified the victim as 31-year-old Aram Delaluz.

According to police, Delaluz was walking or standing in the roadway when he was hit by a blue Toyota Prius. The driver was not impaired at the time of the collision, but evidence suggests speed was a factor.
