SEDONA, AZ – Police are investigating a fatal vehicle vs. pedestrian accident that happened in Sedona late last month.
According to Red Rock News, the accident occurred around 5:25 a.m. on Wednesday, August 25th, as 58-year-old Edna Sosa was attempting to cross SR-89A near the Midgley Bridge. Police believe poor pre-dawn visibility may have contributed to the collision.
Sosa was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 42-year-old Cottonwood man who struck Sosa has not been criminally charged at this time, though investigations are ongoing.
