Three Dead After Motorcycle, SUV Crash Head-On

SIERRA VISTA, AZ – Three motorcycle riders died following a multi-vehicle collision that occurred along State Route 90 on Saturday, according to US News & World Report.

The crash, which involved two motorcycles and two SUVs, happened just east of the San Pedro River.

Investigators believe the initial crash occurred when one motorcyclist was attempting to pass a vehicle in a no-passing zone and collided head-on with the first SUV. The second motorcyclist then lost control of his bike and was ejected along with his passenger. A second SUV then collided with the rear of the first SUV.

All three individuals riding the motorcycles died at the scene. An unspecified number of occupants in the SUVs were taken to nearby hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
