Male Driver Identified in Deadly Midtown Tucson Crash

A crash that happened at the 22nd St. and Tucson Blvd. intersection last month has turned fatal. On July 7, Tucson police officers responded to the accident scene at around 4 p.m. and found a driver unresponsive, according to News Break. He later regained consciousness after being transported to a local hospital.

After being hospitalized for nearly a month, the victim succumbed to his injuries on Aug. 2. The man was identified as 63-year-old Daniel Allan McCarty.
