Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash Sends Truck into Canal

GLENDALE, AZ – A motorist was killed in a hit-and-run collision that sent their vehicle tumbling into a canal in Glendale early on Tuesday, ABC 15 reports.

The incident occurred sometime before 4:30 a.m. when an unknown vehicle traveling west on Maryland Avenue collided with a pickup truck traveling south on 99th Avenue. The truck was sent into a nearby canal, while the other vehicle drove away from the scene.

The driver of the pickup was killed in the crash. That person has not been identified as of late Tuesday morning.
