Fatal Buckeye Valley Head-On Collision Claims Two

BUCKEYE VALLEY, AZ – Two people were killed and three children were hospitalized following a head-on collision near Highway 85 Friday morning.

According to CBS 5, deputies with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident, which happened near the intersection of Baseline Road and Turner Road at about 4:40 a.m.

Officials said that a man was found dead inside one of the vehicles. A woman and three small children in the other vehicle were rushed to a local hospital, where the woman died a short time later. The children all sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

No information regarding the cause of the accident or the identities of those involved has been released at this time.
