Fatal Rear-End Crash in Tucson Leaves One Dead, Three Hurt

police respond to fatal rear-end crash TUCSON, AZ – A teen driver was killed and three other people were injured Saturday evening when she struck the back of another vehicle on South Nogales Highway, KOLD News 13 reports.

The 15-year-old female driver rear-ended another vehicle near the intersection with East Bilby Road at about 8 p.m.

Tucson Police believe the teen was speeding at the time of the crash. She had not been issued either a driver’s license or a learner’s permit.

The driver responsible for the wreck sustained fatal injuries as a result. Two passengers in her vehicle were hospitalized, along with an individual from the second vehicle.
