Elderly Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash in Sahuarita

police lineSAHUARITA, AZ – A 94-year-old woman was killed after being ejected from a vehicle in a crash in Sahuarita on Sunday afternoon, KGUN reports.

Two vehicles collided at the intersection of Duval Mine Road and La Canada Drive at about 1:30 p.m.

Officers discovered the victim lying on the ground after having been ejected from her vehicle. Despite life-saving measures, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both drivers were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Police do not believe impairment played a role in the crash.
