Mesa Collision Along Loop 202 Leaves One Motorist Dead
MESA, AZ – A driver was killed after running a red light at a busy Mesa intersection and colliding with another vehicle on Thursday morning.
According to Fox 10 Phoenix, the driver of a Kia Soul reportedly ran through a red light going west down Broadway Road and slammed into a BMW that was exiting northbound Loop 202.
The driver of the Kia suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The other driver involved was not hurt.
Investigators do not believe impairment was a factor at this time.
