Driver Extricated After Fuel Tanker Overturns in Crash

CHANDLER, AZ – Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety were called to the scene of a rollover trucking accident along Loop 202 last Friday morning.

According to CBS 5, the fuel tanker rolled over due to unknown circumstances as it was traveling east along Loop 202 near Price Road at about 10 a.m.

The driver of the truck suffered only minor injuries but required extrication by emergency responders.

Fuel was also leaking from the tank, which forced troopers to block multiple lanes of travel so crews could clean up the spill.

Traffic built up in the area for some time following the crash. All lanes were reopened later that afternoon.
