PHOENIX, AZ – One man was seriously injured and another is under arrest following a hit-and-run collision at an East Phoenix intersection on Saturday afternoon,ABC 15reports.
The two-vehicle crash occurred at about 1:50 p.m. when the driver of a Dodge Challenger struck a Chevrolet Malibu between 32nd Street and McDowell Road.
The man in the Chevrolet was ejected from his vehicle and rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the Dodge fled the scene of the crash. However, he was located sometime later, hiding in a nearby backyard.
It is unclear what charges the suspect will face at this time.
