BLACK CANYON CITY, AZ – A driver was transported to the hospital after becoming pinned inside their vehicle when it crashed into a ravine near I-17 Thursday night.
According to CBS 5, the single-vehicle crash took place shortly before 10:30 a.m., when the driver lost control of their vehicle five miles north of Black Canyon City and careened nearly 200 feet down a ravine.
Firefighters from multiple departments worked to free the unidentified driver from their vehicle. EMS then rushed that person to a nearby hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
