MARICOPA, AZ – Police say a 7-year-old child was hospitalized after being thrown from the vehicle involved in a Maricopa rollover collision on Monday evening.
According to 12 News, the incident occurred at about 5:30 p.m., when the driver of a white Nissan car lost control of the vehicle on SR-347 just south of Riggs Road.
The Nissan rolled over and then crashed through a nearby fence, ejecting a 7-year-old passenger. Both the child and the female driver of the vehicle were hospitalized with serious injuries.
