Pedestrian Hospitalized After Glendale Crash

GLENDALE, AZ – A pedestrian was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a car at an intersection in southeast Glendale this morning.

According to a report by Fox 10 Phoenix, the vehicle hit the pedestrian at about 6 a.m. as they were crossing in the area of 51st Avenue and Camelback Road.

The unidentified victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Police say the vehicle had the green light when the collision occurred. Its driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with police, who do not believe intoxication was a factor.
