Hit-and-Run Crash Kills Bicyclist in Chandler

CHANDLER, AZ – A man was hit and killed while riding his bicycle in Chandler early Wednesday morning.

According to 12 News, the bicyclist was found seriously injured at about 2:45 a.m. near the intersection of Del Rio Street and Alma School Road. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died a short time later.

Investigators believe the man was hit by a Dodge Ram pickup truck that continued heading north on Alma School Road. No further details regarding the suspect or vehicle are available at this time.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending further investigation.
