Crash on I-10 Blocks Multiple Lanes

AVONDALE, AZ – The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) reported a crash yesterday evening in Avondale.

According to the report, the collision occurred on eastbound I-10 near Dysart Road at around 3:55 p.m. Photos taken by ADOT’s camera system show as many as three vehicles were involved in the crash.

The wreck blocked the HOV and other leftmost lanes as police tried to sort out the situation. Multiple patrol vehicles were at the scene.

The lanes of traffic were cleared and reopened after about an hour.

We do not know at this time whether any injuries were sustained in the accident.
