AVONDALE, AZ – Troopers have reported injuries resulting from a wrong-way collision in the West Valley early Friday morning, CBS 5 reports.
Reports came in at about 1:30 a.m. of a driver heading south in the northbound lanes of Loop 101 near Glendale Avenue.
The driver proceeded onto the eastbound lanes of I-10, where they collided with another vehicle near the exit to 99th Avenue.
At least one person was hurt as a result of the crash. However, the extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time.
