TUCSON, AZ – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking in Tucson’s Drexel-Alvernon area on Wednesday evening.
According to KGUN 9, the unidentified victim was hit at about 6 p.m. by a Ford Explorer SUV. The vehicle was heading south near South Alvernon Way and East Concord Stravenue.
The driver involved in the crash was not impaired. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. No charges have been filed against that individual at this time.
