Trucker Fails To Stop for Authorities

In an interesting twist, Arizona police were forced to pursue a truck for about 40 minutes in an attempt to get a truck driver to pull over. The police pursuit began in the Valley and proceeded for 40 minutes, starting around 10:20 a.m. in the East Valley.

The Arizona Department of Public safety stated that the authorities attempted to pull over the truck driver year the operator of the vehicle failed to respond. After 40 minutes of following this trucker, it was finally stopped at about 11 a.m.

The vehicle came to a halt somewhere near Verrado Way which is on Interstate 10 in Buckeye. Stop sticks were finally used in the successful attempt to stop the vehicle. The truck itself is said to belong to a local car dealership.

While the Phoenix Fire Department will continue to evaluate the operator of the vehicle, the truck driver appeared to have been suffering from some kind of medical condition, a spokesperson from the Arizona Department of Public Safety cited.
