North Phoenix Collision Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

ambulance img head-on crash north phoenixPHOENIX, AZ – One man died, and two other people, including a young child, were hospitalized following a head-on crash in north Phoenix yesterday.

According to 3TV/CBS 5, the fatal collision happened at about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday. The driver of a sedan traveling north on 35th Avenue crossed into the southbound lane near Bell Road and slammed head-on into an oncoming SUV.

The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other occupants in the SUV, a 64-year-old woman and a 5-year-old child, were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are continuing to investigate the fatal crash.
