Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, faces several high-profile legal cases from the federal level down. Now, Diddy is accused in sexual assault lawsuits by more than 100 alleged victims from assaults that happened primarily in New York as well as in Los Angeles and Miami.

A number of lawyers announced on October 1 that they would be filing more than 100 sexual assault lawsuits against Sean Combs, who uses the stage name Diddy. The plaintiffs are being represented primarily by Tony Buzbee and Andrew Van Arsdale, and Combs’s alleged victims range in age from 9 to 38 at the time of the attacks, according to the Washington Post

The victims decided to come forward after Combs was arrested and denied bond following the release of a grand jury indictment that was unsealed in September 2024, which came after Department of Homeland Security agents raided Combs’s properties in Miami and Los Angeles in March.

“According to the filing, law enforcement found defaced AR-15s and ammunition, narcotics, and ‘more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant’ that they allege may have been used in Combs’s sex parties, which he called ‘freak offs,’” the Washington Post reported.

The indictment noted that the parties “were a frequent site of sexual abuse and violence against Combs’s victims and were frequently filmed to pressure victims to stay silent.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs is being held without bail awaiting trial in a Brooklyn, New York jail. He has denied all the charges against him, in addition to denials of claims made in earlier lawsuits.

Federal Charges Against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

In addition to Diddy being accused of sexual assault in lawsuits by those 120 alleged victims, he was arrested by federal agents on multiple charges including racketeering and sex trafficking in September.

“The federal grand jury charged that Combs and his associates engaged ‘in a persistent and pervasive pattern of abuse toward women and other individuals’ dating back at least 16 years,” the Washington Post reported.

As part of that indictment, the grand jury charged Combs with three counts: racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. The grand jury also charged the performer with transporting female victims and commercial sex workers across state and country lines on numerous occasions, “with the intent that they engage in prostitution.”

That indictment may have opened the floodgates for victims to feel comfortable coming forward with their own lawsuits.

“The biggest secret in the entertainment industry, that really wasn’t a secret at all, has finally been revealed to the world,” Buzbee said at a Houston news conference.

“The wall of silence has now been broken.”
