HOV Lane on US 60 Blocked by North Gilbert Crash

GILBERT, AZ – Commuters in north Gilbert were met with delays Thursday morning resulting from a crash on US 60.

According to Arizona DOT, the collision was initially reported in the westbound lanes of US 60 near Gilbert Road at about 8:38 a.m.

We do not know the cause of the crash at this time. Photos from the scene show several civilian and emergency vehicles blocking the HOV lane.

It is unclear if anyone was injured. We will provide further updates should we learn more.

All lanes were reopened about a half-hour later.
