Late-Night Phoenix Collision Shuts Lanes on Westbound Loop 202

PHOENIX, AZ – All westbound lanes of Loop 202 were shut down after a fiery collision in east Phoenix last night, Arizona DOT reports.

The accident happened at about 10 p.m. near the 40th Street exit.

The events leading up to the crash are not yet clear. However, all lanes remained closed for about 15 minutes while emergency crews worked to clear the roadway.

Traffic began to move slowly again by 10:20 p.m.
