What is the ERC Tax Credit Deadline?

The Employee Retention Credit, also known as the ERC or ERTC, is a fully refundable payroll tax credit that businesses can claim on qualified wages paid to their employees if they kept staff on their payroll despite significant setbacks during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Even though it’s for quarterly payroll tax filings from 2020 and 2021, there is still a chance you and your business may be eligible to claim this credit – as long as you do so before the ERC tax credit deadline.

If you continued to employ W2 staff at your business, even during that precarious financial period in the midst of the pandemic, you may qualify for this credit and could receive up to $26,000 per employee.
