West Phoenix Car Crash Kills Four-Year-Old Wednesday
December 2, 2021
PHOENIX, AZ – A single-vehicle crash in west Phoenix took the life of a 4-year-old child and left two others seriously injured on Wednesday night.
According to Fox 10 Phoenix, the driver of a Corvette was traveling at a high rate of speed on 67th Avenue at about 7 p.m. when they lost control near Highland Avenue and slammed into a tree.
Three occupants were extricated from the vehicle and rushed to an area hospital. One of them, a four-year-old child, died there. A man and a woman were treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the child was sitting unrestrained in the woman’s lap when the accident occurred.
It is unclear at this time if any charges will be filed in connection to the deadly crash.
